Well, I guess when it rains it pours! Since I live in Seattle that really shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary for me but still, my umbrella is old and tattered and I could really use a sunny day now and then.
If you're a regular visitor (and don't be dismayed that we actually have regular visitors around here), you've noticed the website changing both in functionality and coloring. That is because we've had a script crash and the replacment didn't like sharing the server with other websites I have.
I had to kill it... it's buried in the back yard.
I am left with a small feeling of emptiness when I say "the ol' college try" though. I can't seem to get over my loss of a warm and fuzzy feeling and I wonder if I'm breaking some rule by "trying" like a person who has attended college when I have not.
Giving it the "ol' high school try" just doesn't have the same ring to it and I feel a bit jaded that folks like myself don't have a catchy named effort too. Maybe I'll just have to settle, which by proxy means that you'll have to as well, with giving it my best shot! |
