What A Site...Together We Build...Treasure On The Tallapoosa" All of these slogans from past and present help articulate the potential Tallassee offers to residents seeking greater quality of life, businessmen seeking a fair and economical commercial presence, and for industries seeking a tax structure conducive to development and a highly-motivated workforce. The first three rules of real estate are: "Location, Location, Location" and Tallassee's strategic location offers fertile opportunities for anyone to consider in their future planning.

Tallassee is the undiscovered gem of Elmore County, one of the three fastest growing counties in Alabama. Tallassee is strategically located in Central Alabama's "inner triangle" defined by nearby Montgomery, Auburn/Opelika, and Alexander City, just south of Lake Martin and the Tallapoosa River. We are 25 miles down I-85 from downtown Montgomery, Alabama's state capital, and only 15 miles from the new East Chase luxury mall, in Montgomery's rapidly-growing East End. We are 30 miles from the renowned center of higher learning (and college football): Auburn University. And you can be on a ski boat zipping across Lake Martin in just 20 minutes from downtown Tallassee. World class recreational attractions such as Callaway Gardens and two Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail courses are less than an hour away.

An "outer triangle" defines our strategic location with three major metropolis logistic hubs as corners. We are only 120 miles southwest down Interstate I-85 from metropolis Atlanta, through which 85% of America's goods flow by surface and air freight. We are 60 miles southeast from Birmingham, the great interstate crossroads metropolis of finance and automotive industries. We are 120 miles northeast from the great Gulf Coast port of Mobile and the sugar white beaches of Pensacola and Destin, Florida. Montgomery is rapidly blazing its expansion northeast up I-85 and Tallassee is directly on that development path. Expect property values to increase; goods, services and infrastructure to become more convenient; and a developing, highly-trained workforce to continue evolving in future years. Now is the time to invest in Tallassee!
