Mrs. Helen Lamurl Smart, 84 (date of birth – April 11, 1924), passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 17, 2008 at Jeffcoat-Linville Chapel with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.  

Survivors include her son, Bobby Wilson Smart; daughter-in-law, Virginia Wallace Smart; granddaughter, Jennifer W. Raley; grandson, Richard B. Smart; and great-grandaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Raley.  Mrs. Smart worked at Community Hospital for 36 years as a Registered Nurse.  She was a member of Tallaweka Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Smart.  She resided her married life in Tallassee.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Jeffcoat-Linville Funeral Home.
