CLAYTON, Judy Johnson, 71, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born July 13, 1937.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Monday, November 17, 2008 at Jeffcoat-Linville Chapel with Rev. David Gill officiating.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, William Clayton; daughters, Kristi Russell (Doug) and Mandi Blocker (Todd); grandchildren, Jacob Thornton (Dristin Aldridge), Adam Thornton (Karyn Blair), Chaney Thornton, Ivri Russell, Andrew Blocker, Will Blocker and Chesney Russell; great-grandchild, Rowen Thornton; brothers, Marvin “Bud” Johnson and Andy Johnson; sisters, Mary Charles Calloway (Bill), Betty Ennis and Bonnie Helms (Lynwood); sisters-in-law, Brenda Moore (Leon) and Vickie Nabors (Mike); brother-in-law, Alvin Harris; many very special nieces and nephews and a host of wonderful friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Carolyn Johnson; brothers, Cecil Ray Johnson and Tommy Johnson and sisters, Ann Chastain and Bobbie Edwards.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  She will be missed by all.  

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Jeffcoat-Linville Funeral Home.
